Wed, May 21, 9pm EDT - Guns N' Roses' Appetite for Destruction

Released in 1987, Appetite for Destruction made a statement about Guns N' Roses.  They weren't just another big haired metal band.  They could blow your mind with raw talent and energy.  Songs like "Welcome to the Jungle", "Paradise City" and "Sweet Child o' Mine" still remain fresh and bold more than 25 years later. The entire album puts you on the edge of your seat and keeps you there. Highlighted by virtuoso solos from Slash and in-your-face vocals from Axl, this album shakes you to your core every time.

Wed, April 23, 9pm EDT - The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Electric Ladyland

The third and final album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland finds Hendrix exceeding the boundaries set by his two previous albums. He and engineer Eddie Kramer pull out all the the stops and utilize the studio as if it's another member of the band on their way to creating a truly unique and mind blowing work of art. From the bluesy Voodoo Chile to the rocking Voodoo Child (Slight Return) Electric Ladyland takes you from here to there and then back again.  Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts as we listen to this gem.

Wed, April 9, 9pm EDT - Bob Dylan: Highway 61 Revisited

Join me for the next "Album Night" and listen to the 6th studio album by American legend Bob Dylan. The opening track of Highway 61 Revisited is the notoriously famous "Like a Rolling Stone" with the iconic Hammond organ played by Al Kooper. The album starts on a high note and never lets up.  Share your thoughts on April 9 at 9pm EDT on this classic album!

Wed, March 26, 9pm EDT - Nirvana: Nevermind

One of the most, if not the most, pivotal albums of the 90's, Nirvana's Nevermind helped change the course of music.  Along with other Seattle-based bands like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, Nirvana assisted in establishing the generation-defining genre that came to be known as grunge.  Released in 1991, Nevermind was Nirvana's second studio album, and the one that catapulted them into the national spotlight.   Join "Album Night" on Wednesday, March 26 at 9pm EDT to hear the sound that shocked the world over 20 years ago and to share your thoughts and stories. Despite those 20+ years elapsing, I can still remember exactly where I was when I heard Nevermind for the first time.  I look forward to hearing it again.
